What’s a person to do?? Not that awful weather isn’t the norm here in Ohio…but typically all I can complain about is the bitter cold and thick snow. Well, this January has been full of 10 inches of snow, followed by above freeing temperatures, followed by rain, then ice, then snow again. It’s almost become a cycle, and it really, really stinks! Apparently by now…Brady Lake is usually frozen solid….we’re talking ice-skating rink solid, so all of the neighborhood kids are pretty annoyed by this freezing…non-freezing business too. BUT…they don’t have a 10-week old Weimaraner that seems to have a limitless supply of energy to entertain and tire-out. It’s been quite the challenge. This week we’ve taken up what I’d call, “ Hallway Fetch”…in addition to our afternoon walks (since they’ve been cut short to the gross weather). He’s getting pretty good. :)
