It has obviously been a “tame” winter in terms of snowfall this year. But over the weekend we were reminded of winter here in Ohio usually looks/feels like. You could tell that everyone was a bit out of practice in dealing with snow….slow driving, spinning out at red lights, and absentee snowplows (or at least what felt like the whole state of Ohio had only 1 snowplow). On Saturday, blizzardy conditions contributed to three major chain-reaction accidents involving more than 60 vehicles on 76 east (which is the road I take to school everyday). This huge accident closed multiple stretches of the highway down for hours, but no serious injuries were reported.
