Last weekend, my lil’ sister took her last flight to visit Ohio....and she did so just to help us pack up everything for the move back to Texas + celebrate my birthday (yes....my “dirty-30”)!! Yep, she’s freakin’ awesome and I honestly couldn’t have done it without her (or it’d have taken me 2 months longer). Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Pooks for being a super-Seester! You’re the best and we definitely owe you 2-moves worth of packing/moving now...so just remember you have a ton of free-labor/moving help to cash-in whenever you move.
Of course, we made sure we had time for some fun too; picking a peck of apples from Beckwith’s Orchard, hearing Nugget’s heartbeat at my doctors appointment Monday morning, an early bday dinner to celebrate my dirty-30, frozen yogurt trip, hiking at Towner’s Woods/enjoying the red, orange and yellow leaves of fall, and laughing....lots and lots of laughing!
My vote was to take Kelc to Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield (the movie, Shawshank Redemption, was filmed in this prison). Anyway, for Halloween the prison is transformed into a haunted house (having been twice...its absolutely terrifying) and definitely earns its place being ranked in the top 10 scariest haunts to visit in the nation. Somehow, Kelc and Kyle teamed up and voted against me and we didn’t end up making the 2-hour road trip to Mansfield. I’m thinking a Seester roadtrip is in our future for Halloween a couple of years from now(when I’m not preggers) so that we can both be terrified together :)
Love you Pooks!!!
