Blooms

Wow…I feel like I’ve been missing out on spring my entire life, the season that is.  Growing up in Texas, spring was just a transition before the really hot, dry, dusty days of summer.  But let me tell ya folks…spring is more than something written on your calendars!

If you remember watching the movie Bambi and how once spring arrived there were suddenly hundreds of more animals, trees full of birds singing, and flowers galore.  Well, that’s honestly what has happened this past week, no lie.  Now I’m not going to lie to you, I could do without the birds “nesting” in the niches of our house (having a 6 o’clock alarm clock everyday isn’t the greatest) but enjoying the open windows, tulips, flowers, budding trees, and perfect temperatures more than makes up for it.

This weekend I am planning to take my camera out to snap better photos, but driving home today I just couldn’t help myself.  Had to bust out the trusty camera on my cellphone.  I’ve never seen so many different colored blooming trees.  Gorgeous!
