I had completely given up on the bulbs I planted back in March. No sprouts, no leaves, no plants, no nothing. Just week after week of nothing but soil to look at. So, about a month ago I reused this pot for some new plants. Honestly, I was just tired at looking at a big pot of dirt.
Then a couple of weeks ago this guy sprouted out of nowhere. Truth be told - I couldn’t even remember what I had planted anymore. So it seems that the Dahlias were just taking advantage of an opportunity to teach me an important lesson, “Patience is a virtue that I haven’t mastered yet”….
