The one and only Kenney Store became a favorite of mine during my 2-month rotation in Texas. My first experience at this gem was for a Christmas get-together for the firefighter’s on my Dad’s shift. But after spending that Thursday night in Kenney, TX...I didn’t miss another Thursday. Its a little rough around the edges and you do have to get used to the “smoking allowed” vibe, but the music and food are terrific and it a true, one-of-a-kind, Texas honky tonk dive. Love it!!
