X-Scream
Ever played on a giant teeter-totter, 866 feet above the ground?
Well, Kelcie and Kyle were the heroes for this ride (and I’ ll admit I was a zero… I kinda like being alive). X-Scream propels you headfirst 27 feet over the edge of the Stratosphere Tower Observation Deck and then you just dangle there (waiting to plummet to the ground with an unexpected drop here-and-there, until you are pulled back in only to be thrusted back out again, and again…Ekkkk!
Insanity
Here’s the blurb on this ride… Personally, its ridiculous and combines your fear of heights + fear of falling out (not held in by much, very NOT secure) + the nauseating, quizziness that comes from spinning around and around and around… .
Basically it’s a massive mechanical arm that extends out 64 feet over the edge of the Stratosphere at a height of over 900 feet, and spins you round and round and further and further out… By the midpoint your are propelled up to an angle of 70 degrees, which will tilt your body into one position — straight down! Never riding it again. Promise!
Big Shot
This was terrifying and awesome all at once. There’s a horrific photo to prove it. But, it is going to be on of those happenings that stays in Vegas (or at least off of the blog). You’re strapped in then seconds later shot 160 feet in the air atop a 921-foot platform at 45 miles per hour. That’ s a total height of 1,081 feet over-and-over… Up and down…Over and over again and again. It really did feel like we were flying straight off of the tower…
I’d definitely ride this one again though…
