Sorry, but "Goodbye to Louisiana State University, so long to the purple and the gold" just isn't quite the same.

If A&M and UT end the 117 year long tradition, if it really happens in 2 weeks, there are no words to describe it other than EPIC FAIL!!!!
A few flashback photos!

And now…..here we are 5 years later and both sides of the family are ‘divided’ or that’s the term most would use.  You see, we have Kelc, Lindsey & Joe, and Megan & John, all of whom are (or soon will be) Aggie Alumni, and then the Longhorn Alum--Wesley, Jason, and myself.  HOOK ‘EM! Rest assured, we’re not the only ones in the family who cheer for only one team!  The 117 year rivalry definitely doesn’t go unnoticed at family get-togethers.  I honestly feel like part of Thanksgiving would be missing without the classic rivalry game and the clear dividing line it enforces between family members at kickoff.  Thanksgiving just wouldn’t be the same without it and all the rivalry and tradition it fosters….the bets, the jokes, the cheering, throwing a football around at halftime, the gloating afterwards….it just wouldn’t be the same.

Hook ‘em!

Also, this article is a great read.  Cracked me up!!!
